Our Wool coats
The wool coat by Maison Lener is a lasting investment and a strong piece in your wardrobe. Maison Lener, a French family-owned company, relies on the expertise of its parent company, manufacturer of coats since 1954. The winter coat is traditionally made of wool because it is a natural fiber whose thermo-regulating properties are perfectly suitable for the cold season. The fabrics of our woolen coats are carefully selected from Italian weavers with whom we have forged faithful partnerships, for over 40 years for some. Each of our wool coats reflects the expression of the aesthetic dear to Maison Lener. The wool is worked in several ways: in woolen cloth, twill wool, terry wool or tweed wool. These different textures are easily mixed and are available on our couture coats with highly desirable cuts. Long wool coats or short coats, each style matches its iconic silhouette. The intrinsic qualities of wool make it possible to make a warm and breathable coat. Maison Lener has selected a noble raw material, virgin wool from the first shearing of sheep, to make its coats. We particularly appreciate wool for its thermo-regulating properties. This natural fiber is able to absorb several times its weight in moisture and prevents the feeling of wetness due to perspiration. As a result, wool keeps heat close to the body while being a breathable material. Regarding the maintenance of your models, wool coats are made to withstand the winter season and a simple brushing is often enough to remove the dust. In the event of a more stubborn stain on a woolen coat, do not take any risks and opt for dry cleaning. A delicate woolen coat requires professional dry cleaning. To extend the life of your woolen coat, consider storing it under a cover at the end of the season.
